The Sandbox is set to launch a LAND bridge to Polygon, so revealed the metaverse in a tweet. The update comes with many perks for LAND holders including mSAND gambling and cashback features.

The Sandbox metaverse The Sandbox is making big updates for all users, this time with its Polygon LAND bridge. In a tweet, the founders of the project advised all LAND holders to transfer their digital assets to Polygon.
Until now, all LAND collectibles from The Sandbox were stored on Ethereum layer 1. However, the Polygon network comes with faster transactions and reduced gas fees.
The Sandbox is encouraging to deploy LAND on Polygon, as holders will receive a $10 million SAND cashback for every LAND they move to Polygon.
How to use the Polygon Bridge?
The Polygon Bridge is a Proof of Stake (PoS) mechanism within the Sandbox, and you can easily use this bridge to transfer digital assets between Ethereum Layer 1 and Polygon Layer 2.
To do so they should log into their account within the Sandbox, then search for the “bridge” function and follow the step-by-step guide to transfer their digital assets.
The Sandbox’s bridging feature is a very beneficial enhancement for the community, and before long we will benefit from faster and cheaper transactions for a more productive Metaversa experience.
