Bybit and Chiru Labs have teamed up with Oracle RedBull Racing to create a collection of limited edition NFTs based on the #8494 Azuki. Dubbed “Lei the Lightning Azuki,” the NFTs are minted on the Tezos tier 1 proof-of-stake blockchain Tezos and offered through Bybit’s NFT marketplace.

It will be the first time a top-tier NFT will appear in the race cars of an F1 team. Azuki’s NFT will be present on the cars of Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez for the season finale in Abu Dhabi.

Azuki #8494 is a human NFT avatar characterized by his spiky blue hair, lightning bolt eyes and dark off-white background. He also carries a flashlight and a toothpick in his mouth.
The limited edition Lei the Lightning Azuki NFTs will be themed after the character and will be offered free of charge to fans on a first-come, first-served basis.
Describing the new collection in a press release on Thursday, Chiru Labs and its partners wrote Lei, who is based on IP Azuki 8494 is “a maverick, whose raw power, passionate personality, striking image and boundless spirit embody all the values of Oracle Red Bull Racing, is a perfect match for the 2022 World Champions.”
All three partners have huge communities that will be able to participate in the NFT downhill. The Oracle RedBull Racing team is on course for another F1 championship win, following last year’s success, with Verstappen coming within a whisker of the title.
Moreover, Bybit is one of the leading web3 platforms, while Azuki has established itself as one of NFT’s premium collections.

Lei the Lightning’s NFTs and digital art will be minted on the Tezos open source blockchain and can be claimed on Bybit’s NFT marketplace.
