Warner Music Group (WMG), a global music and entertainment company, today announced a partnership with OpenSea, the leading NFT marketplace, to provide select WMG artists with a platform to build and expand their fan community.

In this partnership, WMG artists will have early access to OpenSea’s new “drops” product, a dedicated and customized NFT landing page with narrative to host limited edition NFT projects, as well as OpenSea’s security and safety features.
The customized landing page also gives WMG artists access to dedicated support and best practices from the OpenSea team, which will help WMG artists build new Web3 communities, and introduce existing fan communities to new ways of connection and creativity powered by NFTs.

The first collection is currently in development with Warner Records UK in partnership with Web3 company, Probably Nothing.

WMG has signed a number of NFT deals as part of its strategy to increase its presence in the Web3 space.
Last May, the company signed a partnership agreement with Warner Music Group (WMG) to develop avatars and NFTs for WMG artists.
In January, the music company joined forces with OneOf to create artist and music NFTs. The following month, WMG partnered with leading blockchain game developer Splinterlands to onboard artists in play-to-earn games.
