The Sandbox Alpha Seasons are all about “playing to win”, with new experiences made available for a short period of time throughout each Alpha Season for users to try out.
This first Alpha Season 3 experience will launch on August 24.

Over the course of ten weeks, more than 90 experiences will be revealed. The biggest season yet will be available for you to explore, featuring exciting solo and multiplayer activities.
There will be more than 90 playable experiences
More than 90 experiences will be revealed over the course of 10 weeks. You will have the opportunity to play our biggest season to date and discover solo and multiplayer experiences that will keep you on the edge of your seat.
Players will have access to 27 brand-related encounters from companies such as Deadmau5, Swede, Atari, Snoop Dogg and The Walking Dead. In addition, 17 experiences from The Sandbox and 20 experiences funded by The Sandbox Game Maker Fund will be available.
Also, there will be 16 game jam experiences and 12 user-generated content (UGC) experiences from independent producers.

This season, the team is putting a new spin on interoperability. The Season 3 Sandbox Alpha will feature playable avatars from 13 beloved NFT collections that have been successfully voxelized.
Over 140,000 Playable Avatars
With over 140,000 playable avatars, it will be simple to explore a The Walking Dead experience using your Bored Monkeys Yacht Club avatar, play Rabbids with a Steve Aoki avatar, or party at Club XYZ with their new resident DJ Steve Aoki as your Steve Aoki, Doggy, CoolCat, CloneX, World of Women (Galaxy), Moonbird, Cyberkongz, and many others avatars.
Although it has not yet reached its full potential, the metaverse is poised to transform the way we play, interact and exist online.
This 3rd season of The Sandbox Alpha promises to be an intriguing glimpse into the coming world of Web3.
