Somnilife Metaverse announces launch of Somni Land and Reward Activities

What does Somni Land look like?

Somni Land is represented by a fantasy map, similar in appearance to the real world. The size of a Land unit is about 100×100 square meters compared to a real world space.

There are only 40,000 land units in total. At the moment, 4,000 land units will be available for residency, and the rest of the land units will be opened gradually.

Why should I become a resident in Somni Land?

Once you reside in a Land, you become a true part of SomniLife, and the assets in your portfolios are accounted for in your Land’s economic indicators, which are also related to the benefits you will enjoy, both the local benefits of your Land and the global benefits of SomniLife.

Taking advantage of the permissionless nature of Web3, we allow users to check their TVA – Total Value of an Address (both NFT assets and tokens) from the profile page of our website.

TVA will be an important metric of all kinds of rewards in the future, including token and NFT contributions, whitelisting opportunities, event participation opportunities, which are not only within SomniLife, but also other projects.

Activity #1: SomniLife Genesis residents will share 200M SO tokens according to TVA.
The 200M of SO tokens are evenly distributed among all open Land units, each of which has 50k $SO tokens reward. So for Lands of different size the rewards are.

50k $SO on each land of size 1×1
200k $SO on each land of size 2×2
800k $SO on each land of size 4×4
3.2M $SO on each plot of size 8×8

The reward of each land will be distributed among its residents in proportion to their TVA (total value of an address).

For example, if you reside on a 4×4 size land and your TVA is equal to 1/10 of the total value of all residents on that terrain, then you will get 1/10 of the 800k $SO tokens, i.e. 80k $SO tokens.

Steps:

Go to https://www.somnilife.com/map/
Connect your wallet.
Select a land on the map, click on the “Become a resident” button and you will become a resident of that land.

The activity will run from May 13 through June 3, when the snapshot will be taken, and rewards will be distributed soon.

Activity #2: Invite your friends to become a resident of a land For a chance to give away a land and share another 200M $SO reward.
If you don’t have a high TVA, don’t worry, you can invite your friends to enjoy the same benefits. We introduce another metric, TVI – Total Value of Invited Addresses, or in other words, the total asset value of the referrer’s address plus all invited addresses.

The top 50 users with the highest TVI will be eligible for free Land with the following distribution:

4×4 sized land for the first TVI participant
Plot size 2×2 for the 2-5 first TVI participants
Plot size 1×1 for the top 6-50 TVI participants.

The duration of this activity will be 3 weeks starting May 20 (closing date June 10). If you don’t manage to rank first through this referral activity, don’t worry, because we will distribute whitelist slots to the most active members of our Discord communities and partner communities.

Why should you have a Land?

Somni Lands consist of terrestrial and subway areas. Once you become a land owner, you can build various public settings in the land area, such as galleries, shopping malls, parks, concert stages, bars, offices, conference rooms and much more with our easy-to-use land builders.

The subway zone is for the homes of the land residents. These homes can be teleported and have a customizable interior, and can be upgraded depending on the location and configuration of the land.

Land owners can organize events, set criteria and create incentives by taking full advantage of our Web3 data analysis tools, for example, holding certain NFTs for participating in an event.

A land has its economic indicators, such as population, total value of residents (TVR) and more to come. The Owner can manage a Land as if it were a nation, set land policies, create reward programs to attract residents, and make his Land have a thriving economy.

The benefit of owning a Great Land

In SomniLife, adjacent land units can be composed into a larger land in any way, while larger land can also be broken down into smaller land.

Imagine that you want to expand your land, but the plots adjacent to yours are owned by someone else and are not for sale. Therefore, one of the most important benefits of owning a larger land is the ability to break it down into smaller lands, while the smaller lands have to be ADJUNCTED in order to be compounded into a larger land Owning a larger land will also unlock more possibilities, such as applying a logo or image on the map, constructing special buildings, and much more!
