In its quest to revolutionize the event ticketing industry, SeatlabNFT today announces its $1,000,000 Event Creation Fund to help artists and event organizers defray the costs of hosting events.

These non-refundable grants are open to applications from events and festivals around the world. Successful applicants will receive their grants in installments, becoming a SeatlabNFT sponsored event and official ticketing client in the process, giving them increased exposure on the world stage.

We have a BIG announcement…

Do you want a slice of $1,000,000?

We're excited to launch the SeatlabNFT Event Creator Fund! We're giving $1,000,000 to event organisers in non-repayable grants to help them put on amazing shows and experiences!

There is no minimum or maximum amount associated with the grant, as different events have different capital requirements. Grants can be used to cover the many upfront costs associated with hosting a live event, such as venue deposits, artist booking fees and marketing campaigns, allowing organizers to focus on what they do best: putting on unforgettable shows.

Ryan Kenny, Director of Seatlab, says: “We are excited to announce the SeatlabNFT Event Creation Fund, which we hope will provide organizers around the world with the financial injection needed to enable them to test and adopt our ticketing technology at their events. We want to work with a wide range of events, so we encourage everyone who would benefit to apply.”

Applications can be made via https://www.seatlabnft.com/event-creator-fund and will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Applicants will be asked to provide detailed information about their event, including venue contracts and artist agreements.

SeatlabNFT also looks at the applicant’s experience in organizing successful events, social media following of interested parties, and anything else that will help them better understand the viability of the event.

Finally, applicants should indicate the size of the grant they are requesting and how they will allocate the funds. SeatlabNFT will internally evaluate the applications and make a decision within a few weeks.

Successful applicants will receive the grant in installments, unlocking the next payment when they reach a major milestone. While each grant is evaluated on a case-by-case basis, typical milestones include:

  • Sign-on bonus
  • When tickets go on sale
  • 50% of tickets sold
  • 100% of tickets sold
  • The day of the event

This Event Creation Fund is the next big step for SeatlabNFT, which has already developed a game-changing NFT-powered event ticketing system that artists and event organizers can use to regain control of the secondary market, prevent counterfeiting, and bring fans and artists closer together through exclusive rewards and collectibles.

About SeatlabNFT

SeatlabNFT is a next-generation event ticketing platform powered by NFT. Using blockchain technology to issue event tickets as NFT, they are helping to create a more immersive and rewarding event experience for attendees using collectible digital assets that artists and event organizers can send directly to ticket holders’ wallets, community access passes and interactive elements on-site.

They also offer artists and event organizers greater control over the secondary ticket market. Their programmable NFT tickets can reduce ticket sales with features such as resale price limits and non-transferable ticket types.

They are also opening up new revenue streams with royalty sharing, which allows artists and event organizers to earn a commission from the resale of tickets on the secondary market.
