June 4, 2025 — Pixels today announced the expansion of its $PIXEL staking system to Telegram through a partnership with Sleepagotchi. This mobile app combines gamification and social features to help users build healthier sleep habits. This collaboration reinforces Pixels’ mission to extend the $PIXEL staking ecosystem to new distribution channels.
With over 2 million registered users on Telegram and consistently ranked among the top 20 grossing Telegram games, Sleepagotchi rewards users for consistent sleep goals with digital collectibles. The current Sleepagotchi LITE experience, which has nearly 100,000 weekly active users, introduces a casual, battle card-style game that allows users to earn points throughout the day, with no sleep tracking required. Sleepagotchi LITE offers a light, social experience focused on collecting character cards, completing missions, and teaming up with friends in clans. The full Sleepagotchi experience is set to launch worldwide in 2025 on iOS and Android.
Through this partnership, Sleepagotchi will incorporate $PIXEL into its user acquisition and retention strategies. Initially, $PIXEL will be introduced within the web version of Sleepagotchi LITE as a payment method. Players will be able to purchase in-game items using $PIXEL, including limited-time discount windows. $PIXEL will also be used as a strategic reward to increase engagement and long-term retention.
