Mysten Labs has announced that it has been chosen by Metaverse World, a subsidiary of Netmarble F&C, as the blockchain partner for GRAND CROSS: METAWORLD, a recently unveiled next-generation metaverse.

GRAND CROSS: METAWORLD allows thousands of users to simultaneously interact with each other and with various cities and neighborhoods in a vast open virtual world, complete with anime-style character concepts and immersive 4K backgrounds.
Users will also be able to create their own monoverse and decorate it as they wish within the metaverse.
In addition, they will be able to use motion recognition technology based on web and mobile cameras to customize their avatars and create user-generated content that will be disseminated through the metaverse and social networks.
GRAND CROSS: METAWORLD will leverage the Sui blockchain to introduce rich, dynamic and composable assets on the blockchain and drive the economic, commercial and payment activities of the metaverse.
