Lionel Messi and the Ethernity Chain platform signed an agreement this week to launch a collection of fourteen (14) Non-Fungible Tokens (NFT) to celebrate Messi’s 17-year career with the Argentina national team.

Two of the 14 NFTs are already available on Ethernity Chain and highlight Messi’s most important moments during his World Cup run with the Albiceleste, according to the platform’s website.

One of the authors of the NFTs is Colombian Víctor Mosquera, who expressed through his Instagram account the emotion he feels when presenting the NFT piece titled “Lionel Messi: Gratitude”.

“It is a previlege to be part of Messi’s NFT collection at Ethernity Chain. Soccer is part of my life, so I am grateful to collaborate with the best player of all time,” said Mosquera.

Ethernity Chain also presented the NFT entitled “Lionel Messi: The Time Machine” by Ethernal Labs, a creative and technological studio that uses Web 3.0 technology.

The next NFTs to be issued by Ethernity Chain on Lionel Messi’s career with Argentina are scheduled for release on December 15, 22 and 29, 2022. There will also be an additional NFT on January 5, 2023.

In addition, Messi fans will be able to purchase a limited edition digital artwork commemorating his first appearance in world soccer in 2006.

In that match played in Germany, “La Pulga” reached the quarterfinals with the Albiceleste. The team lost on penalties against the local team. This collectible NFT will provide fans with a next-generation experience.
