Popular business magazine Forbes is coming to the Sandbox metaverse in partnership with Polygonal Mind.
The publisher of “The World’s Richest” is taking its push for Web 3.0 adoption even further by hosting a first-of-its-kind event in the Sandbox metaverse on November 10.
The business magazine is committed to offering its readers, subscribers and members more opportunities to learn about and adopt Web3.

Forbes is undoubtedly one of the most influential business magazines in the world. Publications such as the “Richest Americans”, “Crypto’s Richest”, “World’s Most Powerful”, and others have given it its reputation with lists and rankings of popular social topics.
Forbes has been one of the first mainstream publications to cover the metaverse since its inception, and has been an active participant in Web3 since establishing its presence through NFT digitization of some of its iconic magazine covers.
The “world’s most influential” publisher also held a successful summit on digital assets and Web 3.0 in March this year, which was followed by the launch of its NFT collection “Virtual Billionaires,” in partnership with FTX.
Forbes’ commitment to bringing its expertise to Web3 is a good sign of institutional and widespread adoption of the space.
The business magazine claims to reach more than 150 million people across all platforms each month, and its partnership with Polygonal Mind could serve as a perfect bridge to those users for Web3.
Polygonal Mind is a creative development studio lauded for its contributions to the Decentraland and The Sandbox metaverses, including the upcoming “Metaverse Music Festival.” Other accolades include the creation of 3D models, avatars and environments in games such as Beat Saber, Crypto Avatars and Morphite, among others.
Forbes’ experience at The Sandbox
Learn what enthusiasts can expect in Forbes’ upcoming The Sandbox experience, in partnership with Polygonal Mind:
- Forbes members will receive portable NFTs that will allow them to enter The Sandbox metaverse.
- The Forbes metaverse will contain true-to-Forbes memorabilia, including an NFT gallery showcasing the magazine’s success, which will also house the NFT collection of the publication’s “virtual billionaires,” along with their virtual estates based on live New York Stock Exchange trading.
- Challenging quests and treasure hunts, virtual parties and the Forbes Highlander yacht await players.
- Players will be able to share with other avatars, participate in trivia about Forbes and its history, and more.
Supitskiy envisions Web3 as a place where the Forbes community can make new connections, learn, discover new ideas and interact socially.
Vadim Supitskiy added that Forbes’ goal is to expand its reach to all media and engage with users wherever they are. We want this space to be a place for our community to come together, make new connections, learn, discover new ideas, be entertained and have fun,” said Supitskiy. “We are always looking to provide more value to members and offer unique and engaging experiences, both in the real world, on Web2 and Web3.”
The event is open to members only. Attendees must be a Forbes subscriber to attend. A Forbes subscription costs between $7 and $80, depending on time.
Members can embark on a fun and challenging adventure to locate various metaverse locations, such as a DJ booth, bar and dance floor, throughout the event.
Members will also be able to tour Forbes’ famous Highlander yacht, which in the 1980s was a favorite haunt of the likes of Paul McCartney, Elizabeth Taylor and even Henry and Nancy Kissinger.
Attendees will have the opportunity to mingle with other members and engage in challenging and fun trivia about Forbes and its past.
Forbes’ adoption of Web3 is monumental for the industry, as it represents a step in the right direction for widespread adoption.
The business magazine maintains millions of subscribers and readers each month, who could move to Web3 thanks to Forbes’ efforts.
