Axie infinity announced, the start of Origin launch week, from March 31 until April 7.
Origin is one of the most anticipated updates by the community, and will be available through the Mavis Hub on April 7.

While the release was originally planned for March 31, after the Ronin network was stolen, they decided to first resolve any security issues and change the release date of Origin.
Axie Infinity reported on their official Discord that they prefer to give the engineering team more time to thoroughly investigate all the implications of the security breach.
What will Axie Infinity Origin look like?
The launch will consist of a 7-day event, starting on March 31, and ending on April 7. Each day will have events that will be organized as follows:
1st Event
March 30: Game trailer published on Axie’s official YouTube channel.
March 31: Origin launch contest and neutral rune charms launched on Axie Twitter and Discord.
April 1: Aqua Runes & Charms and Beast Charms revealed by Ryan MT8.
April 2: Origin preview stream on Axie Twitch.
April 3: Bird Runes & Charms revealed by Zio, Kmanu and Rojan.
April 4: Arena Mode Guide published by Axie.Tech.
April 5: Plant Rune Charms revealed by Myrtle & KooKoo.
April 6: Reptile Runes & Charms revealed by Origin Launch Contest Winner.
April 7: Axie Infinity: Origin alpha will be available for download on Mavis Hub.
2nd Event
April 1: Runas y amuletos de insectos revelados por Chuck Fresco.

How to participate in the Origin Launch Contest?
The contest will officially start on March 31. To participate, post your content using the hashtag #OriginLaunch on Twitter. This contest is divided into three sections:
Custom Origin Card
To participate in this section you must design a custom Origin card. Axie Infinity has already prepared blank card templates for your creation. You can renew an existing skill or create a new one. Your creativity will be the limit.
Knowledge of the arc beast
If you consider you have the knowledge of the infamous arc beast more than anyone else, you should write a Twitter thread telling your own Origin story, the more detailed the better.
Axie cosplay for beginners
In this section you must create your best Puffy, Buba or Olek look.
The content will be evaluated by members of the Sky Mavis team. They will choose a winner and invite them to officially read Reptile Runes & Charms on Wednesday, April 6, judging will be based on:
- Originality (50%) and quality (50%).
- March 31 – Contest begins.
- April 5 – Submission deadline.
- April 6 – Winner will be chosen.
On Saturday, April 2, Axie Infinity will host a live stream on its official Axie Twitch account where an internal gameplay session will be broadcast. This will be the first opportunity to see the full alpha compilation live.
