NBA and Miami Heat legend Dwayne Wade is teaming up with Budweiser to launch the Budweiser Zero NFT collection. This initiative comes as the brand attempts to build a fan base and create great experiences. The collection will launch on May 24 at 2 p.m. ET.

Legends of the Budverse: Dwayne Wade and the Budweiser Zero Edition
Since his retirement in the 2018/2019 season, the 3-time NBA champion has been active in several business ventures. He hit the ground running by signing a lifetime deal with Li-Ning following his departure from the NBA.
He also has ongoing partnerships with MISSION, Hisense, BallerTV, Stance, Budweiser, Mars Reel, Wade Cellars, 800° Woodfired Kitchen and D. Wade Burgers.
In 2020, Dwayne Wade co-founded Budweiser Zero, your regular Bud but with only 50 calories. It’s essentially a non-alcoholic, sugar-free beer with the refreshing, full flavor you expect from Budweiser. They have created this product specifically for fans who want to enjoy a non-alcoholic beer.
According to the Utah Jazz owner, the partnership will leverage their unique capabilities and relationships to have a positive impact on the community. Along with Budweiser, Dwayne Wade will make a donation to create a grant program for minority-owned businesses in disadvantaged communities across the United States.
This builds on his ongoing work with Social Change Fund United, which empowers communities of color and advocates for the rights of all black lives.

Budweiser USA has been very active in the NFT space for some time. Their numerous collections and collaborations are available on OpenSea. In addition, they have recently released the Budverse 2022 roadmap.
This roadmap contains many interesting details, with Dwayne Wade’s Budverse Legends at the center. The company has not explained the details of this roadmap, but it is clear that they have big plans for the space.
