Snoop Dogg, whose real name is Calvin Broadus, filed two new trademark applications for Uncle Snoop and Uncle Snoop’s, indicating that he plans to launch virtual and physical cannabis-related products, food and apparel under the two brands.
Through the applications, it intends to enter the apparel, footwear, headwear accessories, smoking products, virtual cannabis, and NFT and digital collectibles markets.
Trademark attorney Mike Kondoudis announced the news via a Twitter post:

Snoop Dogg and his fondness for NFTs and Metaverses
In May, Snoop Dogg filed a new trademark application to sell plastic toy figurines.
The trademark application came after Snoop Dogg filed legal action against the sale of the Christmas-themed toy “SNOOP ON A STOOP” in 2021.
In addition to digital products and services, Snoop has also filed trademarks for physical products, such as clothing, apparel and footwear, chocolate bars, cake mixes and iced coffee, as well as soft drinks and pre-rolled hemp cigarettes and dried hemp for use as a tobacco substitute.
This indicates that Snoop has plans to diversify and launch his own cannabis and food brands both physically and on Web3.
Known for his weed consumption, Snoop has previously partnered with the P2E mafia metaverse game, MOBLAND, to grow digital weed in the metaverse.
The rapper is also an avid NFT enthusiast who has released several NFT collections and is opening a Bored Ape-themed dessert restaurant called Dr. Bombay’s Sweet Exploration that will be making an appearance at Ape Fest during NFT NYC.
In addition to musicians, big names in sports are also interested in the metaverse realm.
Durant filled out 26 NFT and metaverse applications for his followers to buy and sell downloadable and unique NFTs, NFT-backed media and crypto collectibles on the NFT and crypto marketplaces.
