Shiba Inu is a virtual community that started as a meme-based cryptocurrency, and is currently aiming to launch its own metaverse.
The intention of the Shiba Inu metaverse is to achieve a massive environment that allows all members of its community to share and grow together.
The official announcement of this project was spread through its Twitter account, offering further details on its own blog.

SHIB: The Metaverse, is an ecosystem in which are also included all the native tokens of the project: $SHIB, $LEASH, $BONE.
The Shiba Inu metaverse is not currently available to be visited until some details are fine-tuned, however, the project’s website is active.
According to information from the development team, the metaverse will go live in the next few days, and will be available to the public.
This is how the Shiba Inu metaverse will be set up
As in most metaverses to date, there is the possibility of acquiring portions of virtual land.
SHIB will be made up of 10,595 plots, which are part of the immersive experience that the project’s development team seeks to achieve.
Most of these spaces will soon be sold, which will bring benefits to their owners.
The space distribution in SHIB will be composed of 4 districts: Technology, Coins, Defense and Growth.
During the initial phase of this Shiba Inu project, there will be 36,431 plots distributed among the districts described above. The spaces have the following levels:
- Level 1: Diamond Fang
- Level 2: Platinum fang
- Level 3: Golden tail
- Level 4: Silver fur
- Private lands
Some land will be reserved for events, special spaces and for investors and collaborators of the project.
As for the prices of the plots, they will be variable, depending on the level in which they are located. They will be:
- 1 ETH for level 1
- 0.5 ETH for level 2
- 0.3 ETH for level 3
- 0.2 ETH for level 4
These prices are based on the number of existing plots per level, being more expensive those with a lower number of units.
The prices will surely vary after the official launch, as the value of the land will change depending on the nearby constructions.
For many it may be striking that despite being a Shiba Inu project, the payment of the plots is made in ethereum, however, the idea is that these funds will be used to pay for the development of this metaverse.
Those users who decide to invest in properties within the SHIB metaverse, will obtain passive income, a way to earn while living the experience within the digital universe.
