The Argentine company HeirloomDAO is currently working on its proposal for buying, selling and updating software using NFT technology.
In the last weeks, the NFT trade has had some important downturns, mainly in digital art, however, HeirloomDAO’s proposal may give a new vigor to the market.
What is HeirloomDAO?
The project consists mainly of a platform that offers the purchase of software licenses and subscriptions using NFT technology.
HeirloomDAO offers to break a paradigm to the use of NFT as it has been currently developed, allowing software developers and users a great opportunity to trade without intermediaries.

Unlike the way it has been done regularly, HeirloomDAO offers its users to link licenses and software directly to their NFTs and not to personal data.
HeirloomDAO allows verification of the user’s NFT license, providing the credentials to access the software.
HeirloomDAO’s CEO, Mariano Maisterrena, stated that the permanent certification of software, licenses and subscriptions through NFT is something completely new, allowing full ownership of each product.
The main idea of this project is to provide software companies with the facilities to formally enter the Web 3.0 development ecosystem.
Platform administration and management
Initially developed on EVM, a system based on the use of a virtual machine, which seeks compatibility with other blockchain networks.
EVM stands for Ethereum Virtual Machine, which allows higher processing speed and lower energy consumption, offering advantages over other similar systems.
For the management of the HeirloomDAO, as its name suggests, it will be decentralized and autonomous, based mainly on the project’s native governance token, the HELI.
According to the roadmap put forward by the HeirloomDAO team, the official launch of the HELI token will take place before the second half of the year through a special sales event.
On the other hand, the first transactions using NFT through the project’s official marketplace are planned to start in the second half of the year and be fully operational by the beginning of 2023.
