GamerHash will create new games in the metaverse while educating 700,000 players about the values of NFTs, decentralization and blockchain. GamerHash is already creating its first game in The Sandbox.

GamerHash and The Sandbox
GamerHash has been close to the ideas represented by The Sandbox since the early days. According to the GamerHash team, the metaverse of The Sandbox is not only its impressive map, but much more thanks to the lively communities that unleash their creativity together.
This mindset led GamerHash to purchase a 6×6 LAND parcel during one of the first sales in 2020. Since then, the companies have been close, also because of the joint membership in Blockchain Game Alliance.
The GamerHash community consists of more than 700,000 gamers globally who understand the world of cryptocurrencies and mining.
Bringing them into The Sandbox metaverse is a great introduction and reason to educate them on how NFTs, crypto and the metaverse work together while having fun.
In addition to a global audience, both companies seek to serve the Southeast Asian communities, including Korea, by trying to offer the best crypto and gaming experiences possible.
This region is important as it has a large number of gamers and a high adoption rate of cryptocurrencies.

The Sandbox and GamerHash were already close, and the next steps bring them closer together when it comes to creating games for their thriving communities and the impact of metaverse gaming.
With initial help from The Sandbox team, GamerHash has become the first official Polish partner developing games and working in The Sandbox metaverse.

Games under construction in The Sandbox metaverse
Studio GamerHash’s title in the metaverse is already under construction at The Sandbox and is expected to be released in the fall with the title TRAVERSE: Mars is Mine.
The story will star Astro, the hero of the GamerHash brand, and his bravery as he explores the undiscovered secrets of the Universe.
The team is already working on a second game to bring esports to the world of The Sandbox. Aside from the game created by GamerHash in The Sandbox metaverse, both teams promise in their official announcements many events to take place over the summer, including NFT drops.
GamerHash was created in 2017 with the idea of allowing gamers to share their computing power by simply running the app in the background.
Since then, GamerHash grew to over 700 000 registered users and became one of the largest cryptocurrency gaming guilds in the world while driving web3 adoption.
