Elvis Presley Enterprises and web3 studio, Run it Wild announced yesterday, May 25, a series of major partnerships for their metaverse project, Elvis On-Chain. The new partners are The Sandbox, Decentraland, Voxel Architects, DAPPCRAFT and Metakey.
The announcement comes as the project prepares for its genesis launch next month.

Elvis On-Chain Metaverse Strategy
The Elvis On-Chain NFT project has added a number of partners to build a unique gathering place for Elvis fans in the metaverse. In essence, this space will be “part time capsule and part amusement park” and ultimately a celebration of the pop icon.
“These incredible partners, all leaders in the craft, are helping us build a unique gathering place for Elvis fans,” said Adam De Cata, Director of Run It Wild. “The Elvis metaverse will host a series of innovative experiences, generative collections, rare concert exhibits, fan experiences and real events.”

Experiences made by each of the partners
The Sandbox will create Elvis avatars for its native game. In this way, Elvis fans will have the opportunity to become the legend himself in the metaverse. Next, digital creators Voxel Architects will ensure that The Sandbox’s Elvis avatars will be handcrafted and detailed.

“Elvis Presley is one of the most iconic singers and performers of all time and this partnership will extend his legacy in the metaverse,” said Sébastien Borget, COO and co-founder of The Sandbox.

Digital creators Voxel Architects will lead the construction of the Sandbox, ensuring that Elvis’ avatars are crafted in meticulous detail, and that the game takes advantage of the most compelling aspects of his legacy.

Decentraland will host the Elvis Block Party, which aims to set the first Guinness World Record in the virtual world for the largest number of Elvis impersonators in one place. Obviously, an official Guinness World Records judge will attend the party to verify the record.
For its part, prop designer, DAPPCRAFT, will design all officially licensed props for the Block Party. This includes the Elvis jumpsuit and an iconic Elvis-style wig.

The project will deliver officially licensed Elvis Decentraland wearables to Elvis wearers. This includes the pop icon’s legendary jumpsuits, suits, shoes, wigs and sunglasses.

Following a $3.5 million fundraiser led by Animoca Brands, Metakey will serve as a signature partner project, inspiring its community and setting the tone for future Elvis interoperability.
Matty, founder of The Metakey, added, “Elvis “rocked” the music industry in the 1950s and it’s that kind of cultural impact that we like to champion at The Metakey. I’m looking forward to sharing his historical legacy with our community and featuring him in the Web3 space.”
Vegas City The principal owner of Decentraland’s largest entertainment district will support the construction of the unique Elvis Block Party experience at the Metaverse’s largest and most well-known social casino.

The next phase of the Elvis On-Chain NFT project is the release of 1,935 one-of-a-kind Genesis keyed NFTs. Each NFT will be a 1 of 1, created based on a 1968 special that marked Elvis’ return to the stage.
In addition to a digital key that will give fans an all-access pass to the Elvis metaverse, games to win, Elvis avatars, exclusive wearables and iconic collections acquired by the community wallet.
These new partnerships allow Elvis On-Chain to establish a unique gathering place for Elvis fan culture within the metaverse; part time capsule and part amusement park, this celebration of the icon leverages the rails of web3 to transcend borders.
Needless to say, these genesis keys are packed with features. Members-only access to Discord, physical and virtual galleries, NFT exhibitions and pop-ups are among the perks. Cardholders will also be able to vote for future releases from the Elvis vault, which contains never-before-seen items from the legend.
The fan-controlled NFT offers unprecedented access as purchasers of the one-of-a-kind Elvis Genesis NFTs have the opportunity to vote on future vault releases and shape the future of Elvis on the blockchain. The Elvis Litepaper on the blockchain hints at an upgrade to an Elvis DAO to govern the project.
