What is affecting planet Earth the most?

Overpopulation, high levels of pollution, deforestation, desertification, and reduction of the planet’s biodiversity, among others.

The ultimate goal of the DAO is to find concrete solutions that people and the planet can truly benefit from, as the clock is ticking.

MEDUSA WORLD is a community ecosystem dedicated to climate action that believes in the power of Web3 to effect concrete change. The DAO is powered by a 6-Utility NFT, dedicated to operating concrete change IRL to make this world a better and cleaner place.

The project reflects the hard work of a committed team who understands the current and future challenges we are facing: alterations in climate, land productivity, oceans or other water resources, atmospheric chemistry, and ecological systems alter the capacity of the Earth to sustain life.

MW works as a DAO that focuses on how to make our world better for all, especially in areas that need extra assistance, support, and sometimes — exposure.

They use the universal power of art, entrepreneurship, and sustainable use of blockchain to fund concrete actions for the planet.

🔹 WHEN

The project started in late 2021 with its Africa-based team who gathered a number of willing people to organize beach and village cleanups.

IF THE PLANET DOESN’T REGENERATE, WE WILL LOOSE THE CAPACITY FOR FUN AND LEISURE IN OUR WORLD, AND NOBODY WANTS THAT TO HAPPEN.

WE MUST ACT NOW, #TOGETHER, BEFORE IT’S TOO LATE.

IRL ACTIONS
Actions speak louder than words!

Since January 2022, they have:

❖ Collected 3+ tones of rubbish in Africa with a crew of 100+ volunteers,

❖ Designed and built a shed with local volunteers to ensure the plastic is stored before being
recycled and upcycled into eco-bricks – The final goal is to create a processing site to transform the plastic collected into eco-bricks, to be freely supplied to local communities. An initiative that could be then duplicated across the globe.

❖ Met a number of charities and captured their actions whilst helping them out in the field,

• Raised awareness and speaking with communities about the ecological crisis across 10+ countries,

An exclusive collaboration with Antoine Moses, holding the Guinness World Record for tree planting in 24 hours,

• Dropped the ‘#Temperature’ collection Season 1 (2,626 NFTs) : Mint is Live,

• Airdropped funds to Charity Partners:
One of them (Oceano Reddentes) will be able to legalize eco-bricks in South Africa for the first time in history,
Another one, Fly High & Never Land (Egypt) planted 300 trees in a village.

From their charity partners, athletes, to scientists, experts and activists, they gather people from across the globe who share the same love for Planet Earth, and understand the current emergencies facing the planet.

All DAO members will have the opportunity to submit new NGOs that will be shortlisted by vote, to be earmarked and funded following the mint, thanks to OMPT the income generated by sales.

The goal is to provide funds, support and exposure that will allow the designated NGOs to act on a larger scale and create an ecological movement focused LIVE LIFE on local initiatives that create concrete, positive impact. This
