Save the date! On June 23, Second Life will be 19 years old. The 19th annual Second Life Birthday Celebration (SL19B) will take place June 16 – July 5. Get ready for three fun-filled weeks of live music, performances, shopping and amazing community exhibitions.

SL19B’s theme is Steampunk, but don’t let that make you feel limited. Just like last year, your exhibit doesn’t have to stick to the theme. Share with us your passions in Second Life. Your interests. Your communities. Your world. Each year we celebrate because of you, the amazing and creative residents who have chosen to call Second Life home.
What drew you to this world and what keeps you here? These annual parties are an opportunity to show us what fuels your Second Life – let’s celebrate together!
The SL19B Shop & Hop event is the official multi-regional shopping event of Second Life‘s 19th annual birthday celebration. This event brings together many of the top merchants from across SL to offer exclusive items and discounts on some of Second Life’s best creations.
Are you a merchant or creator looking to participate? If so, fill out this form by May 8, 2022. We will be filling in stores as we receive applications, so please apply as soon as possible.
Some important details for participating merchants
- Set-up for participating merchants will take place June 3-8 and all participating merchants must have at least a 20% discount on all items.
- All merchants must provide a new, unique, non-group giveaway for the duration of the event.
- Items must be appropriate for a moderate audience.

We are also looking for volunteers to help out during the celebrations. We are looking for residents with great people skills and a passion for sharing the best of Second Life to help us make SL19B a great success.
If you have the Second Life spirit and stamina to promote SL19B events and serve as a guide to large crowds, we’d love to have you fill out the volunteer application by May 8, 2022!
