Milan, January 26, 2023 – Prada announces the ninth installment of its Timecapsule NFT. The February 2 installment continues to expand Prada’s reach to the Web3 community, enabling unique experiences for NFT holders.
The latest NFT installment is the 38th in the Timecapsule collection. It is the second in a series of three series of T-shirts featuring special prints by Italian photographer Enzo Ragazzini from his 1970s archive.
Entitled INTERFERENCE OPTICAL ART PRINT BY ENZO RAGAZZINI 1975, the February T-shirt will feature a drawing made in 1975 by Enzo Ragazzini with the optical interference technique, using mechanical devices of his invention (the “rotating plane” for circular motifs and the “rotating drum” for horizontal motifs). This work was digitized in 2017.
The shirt is poplin, with the enameled triangular Prada logo and the word “FEVER” transferred to the back of the shirt. Each shirt comes with an NFT gift, which serves as an invitation to join Prada’s exclusive Crypted NFT community.
As an extension of this month’s announcement, Prada is extending its Web3 community to those who have purchased a Prada Timecapsule prior to the launch of the NFT initiative in June 2022.
First launched in December 2019, owners of the Timecapsule collection can now order their own NFT Timecapsule, in sync with the existing physical product. More details are available in the Prada Crypted Community on Discord.

About Enzo Ragazzini
Enzo Ragazzini was born in Rome in 1934. Since the late 1950s, he began an intense photographic activity, working also on optical and graphic experiments unpublished until then, expanding his research in the field of visual perception and optical phenomena.
He participated in the first photography exhibition held in 1969 at the Institute of Contemporary Art in London (ICA), entitled Four Photographers in Contrast, with Don McCullin, Tony Ray Jones, and the photographer Dorothy Bohm.
He made one of the first covers of the British magazine “Time Out”. He also organized a solo exhibition at the Oxford Museum of Modern Art on his research in the optical darkroom.
In 2001 he held a solo exhibition at the Galleria Comunale d’Arte Moderna e Contemporanea in Rome (GCAMC now MACRO) entitled Luci Rosse.
He currently collaborates with the University of California on publications on socio-anthropological research.
