New York, NY, September 9, 2025 — Moku, a web3 development studio, today announced the migration of its NFTs to Ethereum as it prepares for the launch of Grand Arena, a next-generation daily fantasy platform for AI. Unlike traditional fantasy leagues tied to real-world schedules, Grand Arena introduces a new market layer for around-the-clock contests, powered by nonstop battles between AI athletes, with Moki NFTs becoming the first AI competitors.
Founded in 2021, Moku is backed by a world-class team of AI experts from MIT, IBM, and Johns Hopkins. The company has already built Web3’s largest distribution engine, driving over 8 million daily active users across partner launches and more than $7 billion in cumulative fully diluted value (FDV). With this foundation, Moku is uniquely positioned to expand Grand Arena beyond Web3 and into mainstream fantasy sports and interactive wagering markets. Grand Arena is converging the $27B fantasy sports market, the $40B prediction market, and the $50B+ AI gaming sector.
“Grand Arena lays the foundation for a new category of interactive content. We’re taking daily fantasy 24/7. Every match generates real-time insights for prediction, strategy, and market participation. By becoming Ethereum aligned, we’re able to utilize a lot of existing infrastructure for scaling the cool mechanics in Grand Arena. It’s the fantasy sports experience for the always-on generation,” said Hantao Yuan, co-founder of Moku.
Starting today, the entire Moki Genesis Collection, consisting of 8,887 NFTs, will migrate to Ethereum, providing instant access to the world’s largest and most liquid NFT marketplace. This positions the collection alongside the most recognizable projects in Web3 while delivering greater accessibility to collectors, developers, and players. Interest in the Mokis has surged with CoinGecko data showing the collection is up more than 617% from a year ago, with a 179% since July 13. The Mokis, mischievous and shapeshifting tanukis, sit at the core of Moku’s ecosystem. They function as both collectibles and in-game assets, appearing across the studio’s projects: Moki Pochi, a puzzle game; Moku HQ, a publishing platform; and soon Grand Arena.
Grand Arena will debut later in 2025 with nonstop AI athlete battles and player-driven markets. Future updates will include a pre-sale to kick off Season One, introducing the first set of Booster Boxes with exclusive cards. Additionally, the Champion Selection process will highlight NFTs from the collection, with criteria including community engagement as well as pre-sale participation. Featured Mokis will earn ongoing royalties from card packs and card trading.
