Man City fans will be able to complete missions to earn in-game rewards and interact with each other in Roblox.
Premier League soccer club Manchester City has announced the launch of the new Blue Moon experience in Roblox. This would make them the first Premier League soccer club to launch an official club-themed experience on the platform.
What is the experience about?
The experience follows the story of Manchester City mascots Moonchester and Moonbeam, and includes activities such as a mini-game and a Manchester City online store.
Fans can play and watch Moonball matches, which will be held in the virtual Blue Moon experience, as well as complete missions to earn in-game rewards and interact with others on Roblox.

Fans can also unlock free UGC (user-generated content) items by collecting coins and style their avatars with limited edition Man City digital kits by playing Goal Simulator.
“Manchester City continues to embrace the latest technologies to enhance our fans’ experiences around the world, both in the physical and digital worlds, exploring new and exciting ways to engage and entertain our fan base,” said Nuria Tarre, Director of Marketing and Fan Experience at City Football Group.
Today the Premier League Trophy will make its first virtual stop on Roblox as part of the Manchester City Trophy Tour.
For 48 hours Cityzens will be able to lift the Premier League Trophy, take photos with it, collect unique items and meet other fans.
“Another first for the club, this partnership aims to inspire the next generation of fans and we look forward to delivering this innovative new experience on Roblox and bringing the Premier League Trophy to the metaverse,” Terre added.
To become a Cityzen fans simply complete a survey on the Man City Roblox page.
To celebrate the launch of the Blue Moon experience the Manchester City 2022/23 home shirt will be available to unlock as a free item for a limited time only.
More improvements, updates and events will be coming to the Blue Moon experience in Roblox in the coming months.

The Roblox experience is Manchester City’s next step into the Web3 space. In May, the soccer club partnered with Puma to launch an NFT artwork commemorating Sergio Aguero’s historic goal.
The Premier League has recently stated that it is going ahead with its NFT plans despite the downturn in the market.
