Naples artist Gianpiero brings his childhood memories back to life through the inBetweeners NFT collection. Combining his world-renowned artistic skills, with a sprinkling of Justin Bieber fairy dust, we now have a solid NFT project that scratched OpenSea’s Top 10 a while back. Here’s everything you need to know about the group of teddy bears roaming the Ethereum blockchain.

Why another NFT teddy bear?
Gianpiero D’Alessandro is no stranger to the NFT space, and definitely to the art world. He has already worked with the best of the best, such as Snoop Dogg, Nike and Levi’s.
The artist started drawing as a child in Italy, where art allowed him to enter a different and happier reality. As a child, he used to hug his teddy bear to feel safe and happy. In the same way, the inBetweeners project reminds people that they are not alone and that we all deserve to be happy.
The project aims to spread positivity, with love at the center of it all. In the end, the community will have thousands of shoulders to stand on. Whether in real life or in the metaverse, the community stands up and encourages others to be healthy and wholesome. Amidst all the chaos of 2022, we sure could use some positivity.
Looking Inside The inBetweeners
The inBetweeners consists of 10,777 NFTs, with a minimum price of 0.45 ETH. To date, it has a trading volume of 11.7k ETH and a global community of 70k. NFTs are a combination of more than 175 hand-drawn attributes with varying rarities.
In terms of utility, owners get access to the holders-only Discord channel, governance in the community wallet, invitations to IRL events and the IP underlying the NFTs.
In essence, 50% of secondary transaction fees will go into the community wallet. The owners will propose and vote on how the money will be used. As for IRL events, an appearance by Justin Bieber sounds very likely given his vocal and active support of the project. I mean, he has an inBetweener as his PFP, need I say more?
In the coming months, the team will be filling more positions as it builds the foundation to create a strong community and global brand. In Q3 2022, we expect several inBetweeners IRL events and metaverses to take place.
There should also be more Web3 trading initiatives and interesting collaborations. Towards the end of the year, Gianpiero and the team will organize an international art tour.
Just yesterday, @Element_Market published the Top 10 NFT earnings in the last 24 hours, in which this project is comfortably in the #1 spot. Among these milestones, the community can also look forward to other interesting projects.
