Illuvium’s NFT land sale will take place on June 2 at 9 am UTC. This time, there will be 20,000 NFT land parcels up for grabs through a Dutch auction. In addition, the minting will take place on Immutable X, a zero-fee L2 scaling solution on Ethereum.

Illuvium NFT land sale: What you need to know
To reduce gas expenses, the Illuvium NFT land sale will take place in batches. Every hour, 278 new plots will go on sale for 2 hours. The price will be reduced by 2.5% per minute until someone buys them. Therefore, the entire sale will last 3 days.

As of now, there are 5 levels of land with different starting prices, as shown below. Level 1 to 4 land lots can be purchased with ETH or $sILV2, while level 5 land lots can only be purchased with ETH. Each batch of NFT land will come with approximately the same ratio of levels during the sale. So you don’t have to worry about missing out on higher level lands if you mint them at a later time.
What can I do with the lands in Illuvium?
For those who don’t know, NFT lands are crucial bases in Illuvium: Zero, a standalone mobile mini-game that allows players to purchase lands. Each land can generate fuel, an important resource for in-game transportation in Illuvium.
The higher the level of the terrain, the more fuel it can produce. In fact, a level 5 terrain can give a 900% increase in fuel production, as seen in the table below. In addition, NFT land owners can earn up to 5% of the total game income in Illuvium.
In short, owning an NFT plot in Illuvium will give you an advantage over other players in the game.
Land sale prices in Illuvium
Land sales use a decreasing price model, configured with a starting value decreasing by 2.5% per minute for two hours, from the start of the auction.
- Starting price for a level 5 parcel in the first – live auction in English
- Starting price for a Level 4 lot at the first – sale 80 ETH
- Starting price for a Level 3 plot at the first – sale 20 ETH
- Starting price of a Level 2 lot at first – sale 6 ETH
- Starting price of a level 1 plot at first – sale 2 ETH
