Prince Harry and Meghan are extending their systematic culture change campaign into the metaverse.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are building a 3D virtual world in which they will be able to reach millions of people around the world.

Harry and Meghan in the metaverse

According to an exclusive report from The Mirror, Harry and Meghan have partnered with metaverse platform pax.world to create Meg-averse, an immersive world where they will be able to interact with the global audience.

Harry and Meghan’s metaverse could be used to host events, meet and greets and chats with fans.

The news comes on the heels of the couple’s $100 million mega-deal with streaming platforms Netflix and Spotify.

An industry insider told The Mirror, “Harry and Meghan have already gone global. This would take them into a different stratosphere.”

Pax.World founder Frank Fitzgerald said:

“We are offering Harry and Meghan a parcel of prime pax.world land and the opportunity to collaborate with the world’s leading architects, build on it and connect with new audiences. If they want to do business and entertainment business, position themselves as thought leaders and progress their charity work, they must partner with a platform that shares their values.”

A source close to the two royals said, “Both Meghan and Harry believe they will have a greater ability to spread their message if they have a presence in the virtual world as well as the physical one. They have spoken to a number of experts and the view is that this is the next stage to really take their brand global.”

Other celebrities in the metaverse

Harry and Meghan follow in the footsteps of other A-list celebrities who have announced metaverse projects.

Justin Bieber, rapper Snoop Dogg and socialite Paris Hilton have all launched metaverse-based experiences for their fans.

The report suggests that the deal could also allow Harry and Meghan to offer various experiential activities, including games and online communities where the couple appear in 3D avatars.
