To celebrate gay pride month, Decentraland will hold its Metaverse Pride event, where the LGBTQ community will be able to parade in the metaverse.
The event was announced by Decentraland on its website and publicized through social media.

The inauguration of the Metaverse Pride in Decentraland will take place on Saturday, June 11, starting at 9 PM. UTC, where the presentations in the parade area will begin immediately.
At the conclusion of the initial activities, the parade will begin, which will be active 24 hours a day until the end of the month of June. The reason for this is to make the event more inclusive, where those who do not attend the inauguration can also enjoy it afterwards.
Highlights of Decentraland’s Metaverse Pride activities
To celebrate gay pride month within the Decentraland metaverse, a series of interesting activities have been organized, which will surely attract the attention of a large number of users.
One of the highlights of the Metaverse Pride organized by Decentraland is the extravagant float of Mexican star Thalia. The singer, businesswoman and actress has made a name for herself as an advocate for LGTBQ rights.

Other blockchain projects of interest, such as Immersive Kind and Known Origin, will also join the initiative promoted by Decentraland.
The Original Penguin brand created a physical collection to commemorate Pride month, which has been brought to Decentraland’s metaverse as wearable accessories and will be available for viewing and purchase during the event.
Attendees at Decentraland’s inaugural Metaverse Pride will be able to claim some wereable accessories and their NFT POAP certifying their attendance. These are limited and will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.
