The popular game Axie Infinity announced the launch of its 21st season starting on Monday, April 25, the information was offered through its official Discord channel.
This information took the community by surprise, despite the fact that the rumor of the launch had been gaining strength, since the Axie Infinity team is fully engaged in the development of its new Origin version.

Launch of Axie Infinity Season 21
In the press release, the Axie Infinity team stated that they had previously committed to the launch of this season, possibly being the last chance for players to take home the classic mode crown.
This implies that this will be the last season available in the classic mode, migrating future events to
Axie Infinity Origin, a version that has brought a lot of comments from the community.
According to them, season 21 will not significantly divert the resources needed to continue with the development of Axie Infinity Origin, as no balance patch is planned for the new cards.
Season 21 will run in parallel with Axie Infinity Origin testing and updates, being scheduled to run from April 25 to June 24, 2022.
On the other hand, Axie Infinity developers are considering very soon the launch of the first event with table leaders in its Origin version, at which time SLP rewards will arrive in the new version.
This initiative is based on the response from the community, where they asked for haste in the releases in order not to let the project cool down.
