April 21, 2024 – Overwolf, the all-in-one platform that enables creators to build, distribute, and monetize in-game apps, today announced the release of Stardew Valley Modpacks on Overwolf’s CurseForge and the launch of the Stardew Valley Mod Contest.
Modpacks are a CurseForge curated bundle of mods that are configured to work together. Users can install Modpacks in just a few clicks instead of downloading multiple mods individually, making it easier than ever to play multiple mods.

To celebrate the release of Modpacks, Overwolf is launching the Stardew Valley Mod Contest, which will allow creators to unleash their creativity to earn a piece of the $25,000 prize pool by developing new content for the popular open-ended country-life RPG. Starting on April 21, 2024, and running until May 19, 2024, creators will have the opportunity to create captivating mods or modpacks and be judged on three main categories:

Judge Pick – Four creators will share the prize pool of $10,000 evenly, with two mods and two Modpacks selected.

Most Voted – Three creators will share the prize pool of $7,500 evenly, with either mods or modpacks eligible.

Most Downloaded – Three creators will share the prize pool of $7,500 evenly, with either mods or modpacks eligible.
