July 2, 2025, Moku,  a leading web3 game studio and publisher behind Grand Arena, today announced the appointment of Kathleen Osgood as Chief Business Officer. In this strategic leadership role, Osgood will lead Moku’s institutional capital efforts and drive partnerships across liquidity, infrastructure, and ecosystem growth as the company expands its web3 gaming footprint on Ronin and beyond.

A seasoned operator with deep expertise in both crypto and web3 gaming, Osgood joins Moku following leadership roles at Jump Crypto and Sky Mavis. At Sky Mavis, she was the first key hire on Ronin following the 2022 hack, helping to restore the chain’s reputation and drive ecosystem growth. Her efforts led to high-profile partnerships, including the OpenSea and Ronin integration, and helped attract projects that grew to over $4B in valuation post-investment and migration.

“Moku has all the pieces to succeed,” said Kathleen Osgood, Chief Business Officer at Moku. “After speaking with nearly every major Web3 game, it became clear that Moku’s vision stands apart. From smart game design and an AI-native gaming loop to a tongue-in-cheek IP and unmatched community-building instincts, this team deeply understands Web3. They’re not just onboarding users to crypto, they’re making them fundamentally Web3. I’m excited to help scale this success and bring more institutional visibility, capital, and partners into the fold.”

Moku has already established itself as a foundational engagement layer for Web3 gaming, with deep traction in the Ronin ecosystem and a high-performing user base. Its flagship title, Grand Arena, is an AI-driven, autoplay fantasy battler combining collectible packs, NFT mechanics, and a compounding DeFi-style reward loop. With support from leading investors like a16z, Moku is now building the modular infrastructure stack that will power the next generation of on-chain games.

“As we expand our ecosystem, Kathleen brings an unbeatable combination of Web3-native knowledge and institutional relationships,” said Bruce Wasicsko, CEO and Co-Founder of Moku. “She’s not just a strategic and strong dealmaker, but a builder who understands what it takes to grow platforms from both the inside and out. She’ll play an instrumental role in scaling Moku and its products across the greater Web3 ecosystem.

Backed by a16z Speedrun, Moku is poised to become a dominant force in crypto gaming, combining entertainment, ownership, and AI-powered mechanics into one immersive ecosystem. With Osgood’s addition, the company is doubling down on its vision to build fun-first, economically aligned, and modular infrastructure for the next wave of on-chain games.
