Binance today announced that it has hired Senegalese viral TikTok star Khaby Lame as a global brand ambassador to drive awareness and adoption of Web3.

Binance and Tiktoker Khaby Lame
Khaby Lame rose to fame during the pandemic with his spin on “life hack” videos in which he pokes fun at overly complicated scenarios without saying a word.
In this multi-year partnership with Binance, Lame will create videos in his signature style to address some of the misconceptions surrounding Web3. He will also release exclusive NFT collections with Binance.
“Khaby has become a cultural icon and one of the funniest creators globally. We love his charm and sense of humor, and believe he will bring relevance and relatability as we scale the adoption of Web3,” said James Rothwell, Global Vice President of Marketing at Binance. “With so much nuance around Web3 and misinformation in the world, it was a perfect match to have Khaby on board to help debunk some of the myths around this space.”
As of this month, Khaby Lame is currently the creator with the most followers on TikTok with over 142 million on the platform, unseating Charlie D’Amelio from the number one spot he had held for two years.
