Raylights is the name of the first mini-game for Axie Infinity’s lands, where owners will be able to grow plants and cultivate their plot of land within Lunacia. As the game progresses, new ingredients, secret recipes and upgrades for the lands will be unlocked.

With this release, Axie’s NFTs will be used as a base layer asset to create new experiences. The mini-game was developed in collaboration with Quicksave Interactive, an experienced Finnish game development team.

Axie Infinity Raylights a space for cultivation
In this mini-game, the Axies in Rayligths must discover the cultivation techniques that can turn Lunacia into a nation.
The game focuses on planting minerals for the Land where the user, as they progress, can combine minerals and thus unlock new mineral planting options, new recipes and codes.
Seed nurseries
All plants are grown by sowing minerals in the seedbed. To get started the user simply drag and drop the mineral they wish to place on the soil layer into the “add mineral” box.
After adding the mineral combination, drag an Axie into the “Add Axie” box and click on the Grow button. The plants that are planted will be moved to the “Items” tab and can be dragged to the land.
The function of minerals
Minerals can be used for research through the Seed Nursery. Currently, there are 10 types of minerals in the game:
- Edenite
- Aqua
- Beastium
- Serpentine
- Amber
- Aerium
- Mechanium
- Solar
- Obsidian
- Citrine
When you start the game you will have access to 3 minerals: Edenite, Aqua and Beastium. In order to get more minerals you must overcome the missions that are placed in the game. The ore codes allow you to unlock different plants, and some of the common plants have different recipes.
During the game, if you have not used a specific recipe on the land you are using, you will receive an “Unknown Plant” message, so you can know that you are trying a new combination of minerals. The Axie you use to plant a recipe will not have an effect on the result.
Upcoming developments in Rayligths
This mini-game is still in its early stages, however, new features are expected to be added including the following:
- Non-owners will be able to access the game through an invitation from the owners.
- It will be possible to mine certain craftable items such as NFTs.
- Additional options that will speed up crafting.
